Early Childhood Play Space - An Update

The rug on the floor of the in-progress Early Childhood Play Space is covered with spray paint. No, there aren’t tiny graffiti artists at work, these blue and orange outlines serve as placeholders for what is to come. Boats, storefronts, housing, a tree house and nature area – all to help young minds grow and develop in a safe and fun setting.

ECHO’s Executive Director Phelan Fretz pointed to the sweeping slide, the climbing space, the miniature waterfront, just a few of the elements that will help local children and visitors from far away get the Vermont experience and engage in the hard work of play.

Take a walk-through with the photos below and stay with us as the project progresses this fall and winter then opens to you early next year. We can’t wait.
